Chinese Language Program-University of International Business and Economics (UIBE)
Program Introduction:
This program is divided into preliminary, intermediate and advanced levels, with each level further divided into 3 sub-levels. The curriculum includes comprehensive, listening, speaking and reading courses. Students can improve their Chinese communication skills through trainings of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Entry Requirements:
Students need to be over 18 with a sufficient English level. Students who are 17 can also apply but need to be pre-approved by the admissions office first.
Application Materials:
(Application materials must be prepared in either Chinese or English and will not be returned to candidates no matter they are accepted or not.)

Elementary Chinese:
This program is divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels with each level further divided into 3 levels to allow students at similar Chinese levels to be grouped together. The curriculum focuses on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, modern grammar and essay writing.
Business Chinese:
This program is divided into five levels. Students should have 100 hours of Chinese language learning experiences, or had 200-300 Chinese vocabulary. According to the different levels of Chinese skills, SIE s高仿勞力士 ets the corresponding Business Chinese courses, including International Business Chinese, Oral Practice, Business Chinese Listening and Reading and so on. Through Chinese language study and the particitation in language practice, students would be able to attain higher Chinese proficiency level in business environment.
Intensive Chinese:
The School of International Education of UIBE takes the lead in China to launch the Chinese language training program, “Intensive Chinese”, which is elaborately designed for the students who hope to improve their Chinese proficiency rapidly in a short amount of time.
Training objective: For the students who hope to improve their Chinese proficiency rapidly in a short time.
Training goals: With the high intensive training, scientific curriculum, and flexible supplementary means after class, students can make great progress in their ability to listen, to speak, to read and to write in Chinese.
Teaching method: To allow students to study both in ordinary and tutorial classes, to combine group class teaching with individual teaching, to give classroom instruction with extracurricular activities (debating, internship, speaking competition, travel, etc.)
Term set: The program lasts 16 weeks within one semester, and classes are held for 30 hours each week. (In addition, the teachers instruct students to review and preview their study)
Management method: this program adopts close relation’s management method, avoids the mother tongue disturbance, help students achieve Chinese study goal as soon as possible.

Compulsory courses are:
o Comprehensive Intensive Course (ordinary class) and Intensive Exercise (tutorial class).

o Discuss on Social Hot Topic
o Business Newspapers Reading
o Commercial Conversation
o Training Course for HSK Test, etc.
In addition, the appointed teachers instruct students to review and preview their study for 2 hours every day.
Tuition Fees:
Elementary Chinese: RMB 9,900/person for the first semester, and RMB 9,100/person for each subsequent semester.
Business Chinese: RMB 9,900/person for the first semester, and RMB 9,100/person for each subsequent semester.
Intensive Chinese: RMB 19,800/person for first semester and RMB 18,800/person for each subsequent semester.
(Advance payment of RMB 2,000/person for Elementary Chinese and Business Chinese, RMB 3,000/person for Intensive Chinese, pays in full when confirmation enrollment, will be account into the total tuition fee and is not refundable after the opening of the semester.) Once the payment has been paid the official admissions letter and visa form will be sent to the student.
