Rolls-Royce appoints new China region president

Troy Wang, new president of Rolls-Royce’s China department.

Troy Wang has succeeded Julian MacCormac as British aero-engine maker Rolls-Royce’s regional director in China, in keeping with an official announcement on Thursday.

Wang shall be chargeable for the area’s market positioning, authorities relations, company governance and sustainable development.

He’ll proceed to function senior vp of the corporate’s civil aviation division, chairman of Rolls-Royce (China) Funding Co Ltd, and vice chairman of Beijing Aero Engine Providers Co Restricted (BAESL), a three way partnership between Air China and Rolls-Royce.

China is Rolls-Royce’s third-largest market, and it has been within the Chinese language marketplace for 60 years.

Wang mentioned he was assured in regards to the future growth of the Chinese language civil aviation market.
